About Opacity E.U.

Opacity E.U. is an independent instrumental music project created by composer Viktor Branovets, blending cinematic rock, industrial textures and sci-fi electronic music.

Viktor studied classical piano for 11 years from an early age, before later playing keyboards in a rock band. That background still shapes the way he approaches composition today: piano remains his favourite instrument, but it has long shared the stage with a love of heavy guitars, electronic sound and experimentation.

Outside music, he works professionally in retouching and digital content production, combining a photographer's eye with a hands-on interest in technology. Professional background on LinkedIn.

Built around distorted and melodic guitars, atmospheric piano, driving drums, synthesizers and immersive sound design, the music moves between emotional tension, mechanical energy and moments of reflection. Melody, rhythm and texture carry the narrative. At its heart is a personal emotional response, shaped by what moves him while leaving listeners room to find something of their own.

The visual worlds take shape once the music is complete. Selected releases are accompanied by official music videos exploring futuristic cities, abandoned industrial spaces and unfamiliar landscapes. These settings reflect an affinity for quiet, unoccupied places, where there is space to pause and become aware of your surroundings.

Together, the music and imagery give Opacity E.U. its distinctive sense of place, while each track stands on its own as an instrumental composition.
